John Szczsponik

President, Head of Operations

Mr. Szczsponik has a diverse background working in both residential and commercial real estate. After graduating from the University of Texas at Dallas with a finance degree, he began his career working in Capital Markets for JMJ Development; however, shortly after being introduced to residential construction thru a mentor, John soon realized his true passion and formed Millennial Design Build with the goal of making the home building process a more quality driven, transparent, efficient, and cost effective experience. In Mr. Szczsponik’s efforts, the Millennial Team provides a one stop shop for clients by providing Architecture, Interior Design, and Construction Services.

Brittany Obert

Vice President, Marketing and Business Development

Ms. Obert has over seven years as a licensed REALTOR and combines her love for the industry with her passion for educating new clients. Before getting into the real estate business, Brittany attended and studied Advertising Design at The Art Institute of Kansas. Ms. Obert is a major asset to the Millennial team and provides all marketing/branding, business development, and real estate transactions.

Shawn Minchey

Construction Manager

Shawn grew up surrounded by craftsmen – it’s in his blood. With nearly a decade in construction, extensive experience in luxury home builds and training in engineering, Shawn is a hands-on multi-tasker. Honest as the day is long, Shawn always strives to set reasonable expectations which he loves to exceed. A loving husband and father of two, Shawn takes pride in how he provides for his family.

Our project manager Shawn brings his own decade of experience in construction and craftsmanship to the team. Shawn brings an unmatched passion for woodworking, joinery, and timber framing to every project he works. If you don’t know what any of that means, you soon will.

Brandon Collins

Project Manager

Mr. Collins is responsible for our Building and Construction Operations. Before becoming a part of the Millennial team, Mr. Collins worked for Darling Homes as a Construction Manager and was responsible for completing from start to finish over 80 custom homes. Mr. Collins building experience, attention to detail, and ability to learn makes him a true asset to the Millennial team. With over 15 years of Customer Service and Leadership experience, Mr. Collins strives to make the building process one that his clients can enjoy and be excited about.

Carlos Lopez

Interior Architect

Mr. Carlos Lopez is responsible for the architecture and design with more than 9 years of experience. In 2011, Mr Lopez graduated from the Universidad del Valle de Mexico with his degree in architecture, and since has designed office, retail, and residential projects. Mr. Lopez came to the United States after a successful stint working as a Project Lead Architect in Mexico City. He brings to our clients and team a sense of ingenuity and creativity throughout the design & build process.

Paulina Szczsponik

Marketing & Interior Designer

Ms. Szczsponik is one of our certified interior designers responsible for interior selections and design elements for MDB projects. Paulina graduated from University of North Texas with a degree in marketing, merchandising and communications. She started her career in sales then decided to go back to her creative roots so she went on to pursue her masters degree in interior design, started a picnic company along the way and here we are!

When Paulina isn’t designing your dream home, you can find her traveling with a margarita in hand or cozying up at home with a book and her pups!

Susan Gaussiran

Office Manager

Mrs. Gaussiran is our Office Manager and is responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day operations of the office run smoothly. She also handles our accounts payable and receivables. Susan graduated from The University of Houston with a degree in Operations Management, after which she moved to the Dallas area.

She has been married to her husband, Craig, for 25 years and they have 2 daughters and 4 dogs. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and traveling.

Kelsey Davis

Certified Interior Designer

Ms. Davis is responsible for the Interior Selections & Design elements for all Millennial projects. Ms. Davis worked as a Sales Executive at GL Seaman & Co. where she assisted clients in the design and selections of office furniture and architectural interiors.
