What sets Millennial Design + Build apart from other builders?

We understand this is a big decision and at times can be overwhelming. We have a mission to improve the client experience by being a full-service build + Design firm. We recognize and promote the talent of our labor force, creating meaningful bonds and surpassing deep-seated client expectations. You will deal directly with the owner/builder throughout your build process. We are making this a relationship business—one project at a time.

What does “Design-Build” mean?

Design-build is a method to deliver a project in which the design and construction services are delivered by the same company. The streamlined communication process from one team to the other provides an efficient, unified flow of work from concept through completion. This encourages innovations from the designer and builder working together to deliver a better project than initially imagined.

Can you supply me with references?

Yes, of course. We are happy to share references with you, and we encourage you to call them and ask what it was like to work with our company. We would suggest that you do the same for any contractor you are considering. Interviewing a reference is your opportunity to discover a lot about the contractor, so it is worth the time to make a few calls.

We don’t own a home site yet, can you help?

Yes, we have a full service Real Estate Agent that can assist you in your lot search and purchase. Listing services are also available to clients in need of selling their existing home.

How do we confirm our land is buildable?

We provide a free lot assessment to help you understand the costs of building on your lot, contains proper landscape drainage, and if further testing is needed.

What kind of financing is required?

A construction loan is required for most custom lots. We have several lenders that we work with and can assist you with the process.

Is there an average Price per sq ft on your homes?

Home pricing is based on many things, number of floors, type of style and architecture, overall square footage, interior and exterior features, etc. We work with our clients to build them the best home possible that falls within their budget and beyond their expectations.

How do we make design selections for our new home?

We have interior designers that we will closely with. The will assist you every step of the way in designing your dream home. From kitchen design, flooring, tile, lighting all the way to landscaping we have a team of professionals ready to meet with you and make your dreams a reality.

Can we use our own contacts to supply materials and/or labor during the build process?

We have relationships with the best vendors and subcontractors in the area that are dedicated to giving us the best service and the best price. These relationships allow us to build you the best home possible, within your budget and on time.

Can we make changes during the construction process?

While we focus on having all of the selections made prior to construction starting we realize that changes along the way are part of the construction process. You will be informed throughout the process of when changes are allowable and when they are not. Change orders fees can apply after construction has begun and if materials have already been ordered.

How will we know what the total cost will be when finished?

You will know the final sales price of your home before you obtain your loan or construction begins. If any changes are made along the way we will update your pricing at that time so there are no surprises.
